Trip to Denver

Seth and I were fortunate enough to get to go to Denver again to see my parents. Seth did great this time around (last time he had just gotten shots, and he was a bit fussy for the first few days to put it mildly). We had a good time-great weather, great trips...and my parents were happy to see us.

We went on a few beautiful walks in our neighborhood. It is the first time Seth has seen sunshine--or so it seems. So we took full advantage of it.

We also went to the mountains a couple of times. There is no comparison to the mountains in Colorado. No, not even the North West compares. (I know, I'm getting myself in trouble)

Evergreen Lake

Red Rocks

We stopped by a river to rest on our way to Estes Park

I let Seth try out the water with his toes. Apparently he decided it was too cold for him.
Actually he liked it after a few seconds.

At Bear Lake, RMNP

I forgot my shoes in the car, so I hiked in my flip-flops. Unfortunately there was still a lot of snow on the ground. I didn't mind too much, though.

Nymph Lake

We celebrated Father's day.

We also met with some of our friends in Denver.

Barbara our neighbor,

Brandon our neighbor,

My friend Bethany with her baby girl,

and Kent the dog.

I think Seth had a very good time in Denver.

Just look at his smile!

And look at the smiles he gets from everyone around him.
I think this one's gonna be a charmer.
